Inspiration Emporium June Challenge ~ Sparkles

Inspiration Emporium is getting sparkly this month!

I just had to use my Our Craft Lounge Sparkly Fluff for this challenge and boy did I have fun with it!

I wanted to create a project with Tim's new Artful Dwellings die and I wanted to use all of the dwellings in the die. After I got the chipboard dwellings and the Fancy Pants paper cut, I thought, how am I going to put these houses together? Hmmmm, in comes my Hobby Lobby doll house wood trim, totally inspired by Wendy Vecci! I painted it with my Pitch Black paint dabber and sanded the edges with my Sanding Grip. I adhered the paper to the chipboard dwellings and laid them out in a row and glued the trim on the bottom. The black bead trim is from a thrift shop, I glued it on the back. I put 2 black eyelets on each end for the wire hanger. And, I made some little flags with black buttons on them. I tied some May Arts ribbon on the wire.

I used the OCL stamp set Mice Friends (IE has this set on sale!!) and stamped the cute little mouse peeking out of the flower, colored it with my Copic markers and added Sparkly Fluff to the flower.

I made the little flag with a sentiment set from the set, colored it, added some bling in the flower centers and colored a toothpick with a black Copic for the flag pole. I used Tim's Mini Rosette die to make the rosettes and added Sparkly Fluff in the centers.

I filled a corked vial with more Sparkly fluff and tied some black hemp around it.

The butterfly is cut with Tim's Mini Butterflies die and covered with Rock Candy Crackle Paint.

The bling is black & clear Kaiser Rhinestones.

Now, it's your turn!

Go over to the IE blog and upload your sparkly creation for a chance to win a $50 IE store coupon, $50, that's some goooood shopping!

This is such a gorgeous project! I love all you've done with the houses but those banners flipped upside down are just the best detail... totally outside-the-box thinking.
